Peter Jones

Peter Jones is an Edinburgh-based artist. In his work, he largely focuses on depiction of cityscapes. His signature style combines use of 'fish-eye' lens and 'wonky' line, creating a lively portrayal of each place he visits. Each place, although lacking in human figures, brims with life - whether through a bright blue sky, lights shining through the windows or lush greenery that often creates a canopy that gently frames the composition. All of these techniques combined together create a powerful sense of nostalgia and longing for a place, even if one has not visited it yet.
