Linda Paton
Linda grew up in St Andrews and resides there, and has always been interested in drawing and painting. She worked as a visual merchandiser in St Andrews before taking up painting full-time. Linda draws her inspiration from her hometown St Andrews, as well as its surrounding natural environment.
Linda is a self-taught artist and prefers to paint in oils, often employing the 'impasto', an application of paint using a palette knife onto the canvas, which adds different textures to her work. Her style is representational and traditional. All her frames are handmade in her studio at home, which adds a personal touch.
Linda’s work graces private collections of many clients around the globe, including the United Kingdom, the United States, among others.
