Eleanor Spens

Eleanor is a self-taught artist based in Fife and has been painting for many years. She ws brought up in a creative household and credits this with the inevitability of art becoming a large part of her life.

Having spent fifteen years in the gallery an workshop side of the business, she decided it was time to return to er own painting skill and further develop her work/

Her recent work is inspired by her love of texture and mark making. These elements are incorporated into her paintings along with papercut and metal leaf to create  work which is greatly inspired by the local wildlife and nature.

Eleanor's work is included in private collections in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Eire.
