Bruce Graham

Bruce Graham is an artist living an working in the Northeast part of the country. He derives much of his inspiration from the dramatic and varied Scottish scenery, and his paintings reflect his unique interpretation of our stunning landscapes. The rugged coastlines, moody and atmospheric seascapes, jagged cliffs, and rock formations lend themselves to the use of palette knives to create layers of texture.

Bruce works mainly in oils, using both brush and palette knife to create paintings with depth. He is always keen to experiment with vivid colours, capturing the beauty of Scottish countryside with a fresh twist.

The special quality of light in the northern skies are also reflected in much of his work. While many of the landscapes are based on actual locations, some have evolved from his imagination.
