Alison Vincent

Alison Vincent is a glass artist that focuses on remote and rugged landscapes. Part of her methodology is travelling to the locations, such as Svalbard in the Norwegian archipelago and Galapagos islands, to get a real sense of the place that is being reflected in her magnificent sculptures. Glass-blowing is an ancient art form and craft, and as the artist herself describes, 'is one of the hardest techniques' she had tries so far. Whether moss, icy mountain peaks, 'dancing waves', or other natural features, all are encapsulated in glass sculptures that Vincent creates.
