A Crisp Autumn Afternoon

Sproson Gallery’s new exhibition ‘A Crisp Autumn Afternoon’ is inspired by the changes in the weather that the autumn season ushers in, such as a cooler breeze wafting through the air, the evenings growing longer, and the leaves changing colours, ranging from ochre to tawny brown. Whether a view of a misty morning in the glen, a sunset over an ochre wheat field, or a steely-grey brooding sky, each artist depicts a different version of an autumnal setting. The exhibition features prolific Scottish artists including Linda Paton, Ken Roberts, Margaret Evans, Bruce Graham, Deborah Phillips and many others.
